We recently completed the extension of a school complex in French Guiana, marking a significant development for the institution.
The most notable change was the addition of an extra storey to an existing building. To carry out this ambitious project, we produced a detailed BIM model incorporating all the information needed for the modification works: scan survey measurements, foundation excavations, asbestos identification and so on. This BIM model, enriched with precise data, enabled us to undertake the modifications while taking account of the project’s many constraints.
Thanks to this innovative approach, the extension was successfully completed, providing new spaces optimised for pupils’ learning and development.
